 What is Saliva ?

An acidic biological fluid derived from secretion of major and minor salivary glands, and involved in many physiological and pathological processes.

Liquid Sampling

Liquid Sampling or "Biopsy" is a non-invasive sampling procedure; involves collection of blood or saliva to diagnose Cancer.

Saliva will provide a real time information about screening and early detection of cancer, real-time monitoring of therapy and resistance mechanism, and risk of relapse (prognosis).

“Precision Medicine” or individualizing the treatment plan according to the biologic behaviour of the tumour is considered a new epoch in cancer management.  The goal of precision medicine is to eliminate the “one size fits all” model of patient management, which is centred on average response to care, by shifting the emphasis to tailored treatment according to disease biology and predicted treatment response.
